Good Work and Good Behaviour
Every Thursday we have our special Celebrations Assembly. This is a whole school assembly where we celebrate both good work and good behaviour from each class. Class teachers will choose a piece of good work that has been created during that week and those children will receive a Headteacher’s Award. Children that have been placed on the Golden Star will have their name placed in a hat and will have the chance to go the Tea Party with Mrs Hogan on Friday afternoon!
Class of the Week
We also spend the week spotting our ‘Class of the Week!’ For a class to receive this award they must demonstrate excellent behaviour both in their classes, during assemblies and around other areas of the school. We keep an eye out for classes that are listening well, being kind, caring and polite, looking after their belongings and keeping our school tidy.
At Paulton Infant School we strive for every child to achieve their full potential in all aspects of school life and as a result place high value on good attendance. Each week we celebrate the class who has the best attendance and reward them with a special attendance certificate.
