We hope that you have all had a fantastic Summer and managed to rest and enjoy the sunshine that we had. We are really pleased to welcome everyone back to school and although some of you may be feeling a little worried, we are sure you will quickly settle into the new term.
To help alleviate some worries we have put together individual class social stories that will give you an insight into the new routines and expectations of coming to school and also what the rooms look like as they are a little different to previous years. Please use these social stories to help prepare your children for returning to school and for their new classroom. Thank you, the KS1 Team
Term 1 Newsletter:

Across the Drawbridge:
To kick start the year we will begin by implementing our recovery curriculum as we endeavour to ensure that children are provided opportunities to fill gaps in their learning due to national school lockdowns. As part of this curriculum approach we will still be incorporating our themed topics where we are able to and we are excited that our topic for Term 1 will be titled Across the Drawbridge. Across the Drawbridge will enable us to share traditional stories with Knights, Dragons and Princesses taking centre stage whilst also allowing us to look at life in a castle.
