Reopening of Schools:
Following the recent government announcement to ease lockdown and the plan of schools reopening to select year groups as part of a phased return before the Summer we would like to collect the thoughts of yourselves as parents and carers. This is a confusing time for all and reopening of schools can only happen; following risk assessing, if strict health and safety guidelines can be adhered to and staff numbers make this possible. To help us plan for this next step, we would like to gauge how many parents would be willing to send their children to school if and when we are safely able to open, following the guidelines that have been shared. We ask all parents/carers of EYFS and Year 1 children to complete thisformand submit their response no later than Monday 18th May. Thank you for your ongoing support.
During this period of school closures, the Government have worked closely with educational professionals and technology experts to create a suite of learning programmes to help you with supporting your child's learning whilst schools are open to care for the children of key workers. Whilst Paulton Infant School staff are working hard behind the scenes to create interesting learning activities that aren't necessarily reliant on using computers and printers at home, we understand that you may wish to have more formalised activities for your children.
