This is the children's final term of forest school in EYFS. Please wear warm waterproofs on your Forest School day (bring uniform in a bag to change into including dry pants and socks). We will change into wellies in school. Please name all items! If children return from forest school sufficiently clean and dry they might not get changed but it is very important they have a change of clothes just in case.
We are beginning our taster swimming sessions this term. Please see the letter dated 30th March for details.
Red and Green groups will be swimming this term beginning on Monday 9th May - the third week of term.
All children will have P.E. on Thursday afternoons. These afternoons of sport will include building skills for Sports Day with our sports coaches.
On Tuesday 24th May we will take all EYFS children on a day trip to Chew Valley Animal Park to enrich our learning about farms. We anticipate that this will take place between the hours of a normal school day and a letter containing further information will come out this term.
To see how your child will be assessed at the end of their Reception year
you can read the Early Learning Goals.
