As part of our curriculum Forest school is an opportunity provided for all children within our school. Delivered by our Forest School Leader, Miss Sadler, our children are able to make use of the Playscape area which is shared with Paulton Junior School for rich and engaging Forest School Sessions across the year. As part of Forest School, children are provided a range of opportunities and experiences that help them to develop personal, social and technical skills. From pond dipping, to fire starting, den building and whittling sticks, children are encouraged to develop their listening skills whilst practising their communication and language skills whilst also refining their growing confidence and resilience as learners. Regardless of the weather, the children are immersed into a realm of possibilities in a secure and natural environment where language rich opportunities can help even the shyest individuals explore and interact with those around them. Please remember if you have a DBS (provided by us) and would like to support your child’s Forest School experience we are always appreciative of your help and support.

Please look at our skills progressions to see what your child will be learning.
